Pharmacist or Balloonist

Pharmacist or Balloonist is a choreographic pharmacy which mixes dance, music and discussion with the live production of herbal remedies. With this new work the choreographer and pharmacist Elpida Orfanidou undertakes the risk to ‘choreograph confusion’ wanting to discover the magic of transformation as an artistic as well as a scientific process. With regards to movements of degrowth and ecology, the work asks : Can the poison of time be transformed into a medicine of timelessness? The poison of forced productivity into a medicine of deliberate creativity? The poison of labor into a medicine of work?
